Choose a location your pet can actually relax in.

You do not need to fill the space with toys. Keep a few useful things there and rotate play items elsewhere if needed. The resting corner should remain predictable enough that your pet recognises it as a comfortable place.

Wash bedding as needed, clean food or water bowls regularly, and check worn fabric, loose parts or damaged toys. Small maintenance is more valuable than constantly adding new products.
